Responsibilities:
- Receive and process parts orders from customers and internal departments
- Maintain accurate inventory records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
- Source and procure parts from various suppliers and vendors
- Coordinate with the supply chain team to ensure timely delivery of parts
- Inspect incoming parts for quality and accuracy
- Organize and maintain the parts storage area
- Operate a forklift
Skills:
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of HVAC systems
- Proficiency in using a CMMS for inventory management
- Experience in sourcing and procuring parts from different suppliers
- Familiarity with supply chain processes and procedures
- Ability to identify, buy, or fabricate required parts based on specifications
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain accurate inventory records
- Attention to detail when inspecting incoming parts for quality
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with internal departments and external suppliers
- Experience operating a forklift safely and efficiently
